Driver Escapes Serious Injury After Hitting Columbus School Bus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus driver escapes injury after a crash involving a school bus on Thursday.

The accident happened at Highway 45 and Spivey Road.

A city school bus was broken down and pulled off the road, with its flashers on.

An SUV driver clipped the bus, drove off the road and flipped in the edge of the woods.

No children were on the bus.

The SUV  driver was slightly injured.

Columbus police are investigating the accident.
