STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -Mississippi State University’s students are learning how to be prepared for disaster this week.
It’s a learning experience that’s teaching them to stay on their toes should disaster strike.
Today, students got the chance to see just how long it takes a fire fighter to fully put on his turn out gear.
They also got to try on some of that gear themselves.
Demonstrations from the Mississippi Civil Support Team, the Golden Triangle Hazmat team, and the Corp of Engineers took place in front of the Colvard Student Union.
