Derma Man Arrested On Child Sex Crimes

Derma, Mississippi (WCBI) – A Calhoun County man is in jail and faces multiple child sex crimes charges.

Aaron Lee Patane, 36, is charged with three counts of sexual battery of a child, two counts of touching a child for lustful purposes, and two counts of possession of child pornography.

Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan says the child is younger than 12 years-old.

The Department of Human Services issued a report and turned it over to deputies.

After the child was interviewed, investigators searched Patane’s home in Derma on Wednesday.
