Day in the Life: Gunsmith, Pt. 2

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. – (WCBI) As your friendly firearm doctor, Ed Sanders can rebuild, recraft and retool your gun for optimal performance.
Ed and his grandson Brooks White certainly had their hands full with a .12 gauge shotgun.
“This a .12 gauge shotgun and its really dirty from the carbon. The guy dropped it off and said that it was not ejecting. Cleaning your gun is like changing your oil, its necessary to keep your gun working.”
Ed says he turns to a chemical he is says is tried and true, kerosene. The parts are clean and Brooks has reassembled the gun, we took it outside for a test fire.
The gun is as good as new, and ready for pick-up. For Ed Sanders, meeting your gunsmith needs since 1954 is just one more day in the life.
