TODAY: The dangerous heat lasts one more day across our area. Very hot and humid. Highs in the mid to upper 90s, with heat index values in the mid 100s. A few stray showers and storms may bring some spots relief in the afternoon, with the chance of rain around 20%. Limit outdoor activities, take frequent breaks from the heat, and be sure to stay hydrated.

TONIGHT: Warm and muggy. Mainly clear, with lows in the mid 70s.

SATURDAY: Not quite as hot, with a few scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the low 90s. Chance of rain around 30%.

SUNDAY: A few more scattered showers and storms, and the high temperature again drops a few degrees. Highs in the upper 80s and low 90s. Chance of rain 40%.
