Damage Survey Underway In New Hope

NEW HOPE, MS (WCBI) – The process of accessing the damage suffered in New Hope and nearby areas is underway.   The heaviest damage is centered in the Lakeover subdivision where at least 15 homes are classified as damaged.  Crews are still cutting their way into some parts of the county to clear roads.  A National Weather Service team will tour the area today to officially set the strength of the tornado.
