Dad Accussed of Assaulting Daughter’s Coach

VARDAMAN, Miss. (WCBI)-A Vardaman man is in custody after allegedly assaulting his daughters softball coach.

Thursday night Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Eric Tedder at his home and charged him with simple assault.

Apparently, earlier that same evening Tedder and Vardaman softball coach Billy Dill got into an argument regarding Tedder’s daughters playing time. The argument escalated into a confrontation and Tedder allegedly had to be pulled off Dill

If Tedder is found guilty of simple assault of a school teacher or coach which is a felony he faces up to a year in jail and a $10,000 fine.
