Current MSU Football Player, Former Player Arrested on Wednesday
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Mississippi State sophomore defensive lineman Jordan Washington and former MSU offensive tackle Charles Siddoway were arrested on Wednesday afternoon in Starkville on suspicion of residential burglary and robbery by threats.
Washington has been suspended indefinitely by the football team and the two remained in Oktibbeha County Jail on Thursday morning. This story was first reported by Starkville Daily News.
“We are aware of the situation. Jordan Washington has been suspended indefinitely from our team pending further investigation,” MSU coach Dan Mullen said in a release.
Siddoway has been in Starkville preparing for the upcoming NFL Draft in early May. He started all 13 games last season for MSU. The offensive tackle is currently projected by many draft experts to be taken in the late stages of the NFL’s annual draft.
Washington has not yet played for Dan Mullen and the Bulldogs in his first two seasons. He’s a former three-star prospect from Sugar Hill, Georgia.
