Police were called to the Rolling Hills Apartments on East Garrard Road to a reported assault Saturday.

The businesses has since been shut down and will remain closed until a permit for operation is up to code.

Early Sunday morning Lowndes County deputies were dispatched to Applewood Apartments on William Roberts Road, to a report of an assault happening in the parking lot.

David Cassidy of Ethelsville, Alabama is charged with Attempted Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling and Simple Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer.

Williams is out of jail on a $10,000 bond.

Both suspects are still in Clay County Detention Center. 

Tishomingo County investigators said a burglary at a local business was stopped as the suspect was pulling off with the vehicle.

Other agencies are interested in talking to her about other crimes.

Johnny Dale Murphy of Booneville was arrested after an undercover investigation led to his indictment by a Prentiss County Grand Jury.

The charge stemmed from an undercover narcotics investigation by the Prentiss County Sheriff Narcotics Investigator Grady Smith who was assisted by Booneville Narcotics Investigator James Page.

All seven face a slew of charges including Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Kidnapping.

Lowndes County detectives were tipped off late last year that Kyles was storing pictures and videos of children under 18 simulating or having sex.

As the chase approached the Alabama state line, Tishomingo County deputies contacted Colbert County Sheriff's office to advise them of the situation. 

Inside the vehicle investigators found 330 suspected ecstasy pills, powder and fragments.

They remain in jail.
