Investigators said people inside two vehicles were shooting at each other.

Austin Parker, 26, was charged with aggravated assault.

The incident happened at the Red Roof Inn on Highway 45, last month.

The shooting happened this past weekend. Columbus Police Chief Fred Shelton said the incident started Saturday night in the 2700 block of 6th Avenue North.

Security video showed the suspects breaking into 2A Armanents in downtown New Albany around 3:30 a.m. Friday. 

Sheriff Todd Hall said the shootings happened in the Sapps and Old Sommerville School communities in the county.
