COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus police need help identifying a couple suspected of identity theft.

Investigators say the couple used an Alabama woman’s credit card number to buy two gift cards at Wal Mart in Columbus on December 26. They may have used the card at another Columbus business the same day.

Detectives aren’t sure how the couple obtained the number because the victim still had her credit card and had not been in Columbus.
