Crash Knocks Out Power For Some Lowndes County Homes

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s lights out for some homes after an SUV crashes into a utility pole this afternoon, March 27.

The crash happened on Gatlin Road, just off Highway 45 North.

A Dodge Durango went off the road and hit a pole.

Lines were down across the road and the pole was broken.

The driver appeared to have minor injuries.

4-County Electric Power Association crews worked to repair the lines.

Lowndes County deputies are investigating the crash.
