Crank It Up contest winner is excited about the win

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Luck was raining down on one Market Street goer.

Tasha Lewis is the winner of this year’s Crank It Up at Market Street.

One by one, 50 hopefuls drew a key hoping luck was on their side.

This year, a Nissan Xterra was up for grabs provided by Columbus Nissan.

The Xterra was made-over by Bob’s Paint and Auto Body, Miller’s OK Tire, and Audio Advantage.

“When I got in there it starts turning and I started trembling I’m just excited I’m very excited,” said Crank It Up winner Tasha Lewis.

“She was like ‘I’m going to go win this car this morning’ and ‘I was like okay sure.’ So she goes out here and I’m here for the first round of drawings, and I left and I leave and then I get a phone call,” said husband Oscar Lewis.

The family said they are giving the car to their daughter as a birthday present.
