Corinth Receives Aviation Grant
CORINTH, Miss. (WCBI) -The City of Corinth receives an aviation grant to make improvements at the Corinth-Alcorn County Airport.
Local leaders accepted the $222, 369 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration to make upgrades to the airfield lighting controls, replacement of the approach path indicator as well as update the airport master plan.
The city and the county must each contribute $6,177 as a match to the grant.
$63,000 thousand dollars will be set aside for the planning of the airport master plan with the remainder going to airport development.
