Cool And Sunny To Round Out The Week

TODAY: High pressure keeps us sunny today. Highs in the low 60s. North winds 5-10 mph. Overnight, clear and cool. Lows dropping into the low 40s.

SATURDAY: Highs in the upper 60s under sunny skies. Overnight lows in the low 40s.

SUNDAY: Recent model runs have gone dry with the front on Sunday, and thus we’ve taken the rain chance off the board. Having said that, a rogue shower cannot be totally ruled out. The front and upper level disturbance will lead to increased cloud cover, though. Highs will remain in the mid to upper 60s. Overnight lows in the mid 40s.

NEXT WEEK: It appears higher pressure will win out over any rain chances, with perhaps our next best chance of rain coming Friday of next week, just beyond our 7 day forecast period. Highs will remain in the mid to upper 60s through at least Tuesday, with a return to the low 70s by the Wednesday/Thursday timeframe.

VOODOO LAN(BEYOND 7 DAYS):  Models are starting to hint at a significant cooldown by next weekend. Models still disagree on just how cold we may get, and a lot can change in the forecast that far out, but it’s something to watch as we go through next week.
