Contraband… It’s A Problem

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-It’s a continual problem for Clay County jail…contraband.  Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott says two inmates housed at the jail are now facing possession of contraband in a correctional facility charges.  Investigators say they found 33 year-old Christopher Smith and 31 year-old Jeffery Quinn to be in possession of cell phones.  The phones were discovered after a formal search.  The Clay County Jail is working on implementing a system that will block cell phone usage within the facility.
