Consultants Host Meetings on Columbus Supt. Search
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The search for Columbus schools’ next leader is making progress.
Consultants with Ray and Associates – the firm the school district hired to help find its next superintendent – hosted three meetings Monday, and will have three more Tuesday related to the search.
They handed out surveys and a timeline on the search, asking for feedback on the school district and community.
Some teachers tell WCBI they think the interim superintendent is doing a great job, but they’re ready for someone permanent.
“I’m pretty sure that I can speak for a lot of other teachers, that we’re all ready to get someone who’s ready to work, and help us do better for the students in Columbus,” said music teacher Tina Morgan.

You have until 8 a.m. Wednesday to give input.
