Congressman Nunnelee Hosts Townhall in Columbus
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Congressman Nunnelee addressed a *standing-room only* townhall crowd at the Lowndes County Courthouse Thursday night. Nunnelee answered questions from his constituents on topics that included repealing Obamacare, eliminating agencies like the IRS and the NSA as well as illegal immigration. The Congressman says he understands the frustrations of Mississippians and will continue to do what’s in their best interest when he returns to Washington D.C.
“I think our focus needs to continue to be on job creation and opportunities for the people of Mississippi. Governments don’t create jobs but government can create an environment where business can grow and thrive and create jobs,” says Nunnelee.
Nunnelee will continue to meet with his constituents over the next two weeks.
