Community support: ‘Hope For The Holidays’ brightens Starkville
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Dozens of families have some extra help for the holidays.
Five Horizons Health Services hosted its “Hope For The Holidays” Resource Festival in Starkville.
The organization distributed Christmas toys, gift cards, tablets, and books.
Employees also conducted health screenings free of charge.
They hope the gifts will make the holidays a little brighter for local children.
“We were able to receive donations of quite a few toys. And so, community partners really assisted us with this. So, I do believe that we will have some happy children on Christmas day which is the reason,” said Paulette Ferguson, Five Horizons.
Five Horizons is a non-profit organization. It provides specialized medical care and supportive services to individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
