Columbus Woman to Plead to Social Security Fraud

ABERDEEN — Federal court records show a Columbus woman plans to plead guilty to stealing from the Social Security Administration.Sara Deloach, 59, is charged with taking survivors benefit checks that she knew she weren’t hers from August 2008 to December 2009.The amount cited in court records is $13,684.
She and two other area women were indicted April 25 and had pleaded not guilty. A change of plea hearing is scheduled for Oct. 31 in U.S. District Court in Aberdeen.
