Video: Columbus Woman Killed in Late Night Crash

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Mississippi state troopers are investigating a wreck that killed a Columbus woman, and sent a man to the hospital.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the crash happened on U.S. 45, just north of 373 in front of a Texaco gas station late Saturday night.

Troopers say 53-year-old Florence Little was driving southbound, when her Mazda Protege hit a Chevrolet Cruze head on.

Both Little and the driver of the Cruze, Michael McManus, were transported to a local hospital, where Little was pronounced dead.

McManus is being treated for serious injuries.

Troopers say they still don’t know what caused the crash.
