Columbus shooting leaves three injured

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – An early morning shooting in Columbus left three people injured.

The shooting happened Saturday morning outside of the Cypress Park Apartments, off of Lehmberg Road, according to the Columbus Police department.

Two people were injured inside of car near the access gate.

Police Chief Fred Shelton said the third victim was inside one of the apartment and was injured in the upper leg.

One of the victims was treated and released from Baptist Memorial Hospital later on Saturday morning.
