A Columbus Shooting Leaves One Injured

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – An early Sunday morning shooting in Columbus, leaves one injured.

Police Chief Fred Shelton says it happened on 15th street and 7th Avenue about 1 a.m.

Shelton says the victim was transported to the hospital.

Their condition isn’t known at this time.

A suspect has yet to be released.

The chief says more information will be released on Monday.
