Columbus: Search Continues For Home Invasion Suspects

Columbus, Miss. (WCBI) – Police are still piecing together clues after a violent home invasion near downtown Columbus.

It happened in the 1,600 block of 3rd Avenue North on Thursday night.

Investigators say a black male wore a white mask, khakis, and black shoes.

The details are less clear about the second suspect. Police are unsure of the person’s gender. They wore a bag or black mask, with a white jacket, and gray sweatpants.

The armed robbers came inside the house demanding the money, then made all six people inside take off their clothes.

A woman was hit and taken to the hospital.
