Columbus School District continues to narrow down candidate list

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The Columbus school board continues to whittle its list of candidates for superintendent.

School board trustees almost immediately went into executive session.

The Mississippi School Board Association accepted 19 applications to give to the board last month.

Board President Jason Spears says the goal was to narrow the list to about 10 candidates and begin interviews this month.
