Columbus Police Not Releasing Information About “Incident” At A Store

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – More than 36 hours after a reported armed robbery at a Columbus convenience store, police aren’t releasing any information.

A heavy police presence could be seen at Creekstone Chevron on Highway 45 North on Tuesday, about 9 PM.

A CPD spokesperson says investigators are only saying an incident remains under investigation.

It’s still not clear if an armed robbery occurred, if officers are looking for a suspect or if anyone was injured.
