Columbus Police Investigate Shooting

COLUMBUS, Miss. – (WCBI) Columbus Police officers are investigating a late night shooting.

The call came out around 9:45 pm Wednesday night, that a man had been shot in the leg at Jamestown Apartments.

The East Columbus complex is located on the 400 Block of Forrest Boulevard.

The male victim, who’s name has not been released, was transported to Baptist Golden Triangle for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Columbus Police continue to investigate.
