Columbus Police Investigate a Saturday Shooting

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus Police are investigating an incident reported as an accidental shooting.

It happened at Evening-side Apartments in Columbus around 5 p.m this evening.

The victim was shot by another person is reporting that it was an accident.

The victim received non-life-threatening injuries and is being treated at Golden Triangle Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Columbus Police are continuing their investigation.
