COLUMBUS, MS (WCBI) – Columbus Police have identified the man they think is behind a Saturday morning shooting spree outside a Columbus convenience store.

Tyquina “Ty” Kidd of 104 Poplar Street in Columbus is facing multiple felony warrants in the case.

Detectives say Kidd is responsible for the early morning shooting barrage outside the Sprint Mart on Highway 69 South.

 Several cars and the front glass of the store were damaged in the 1:30 A.M. incident.  One person was treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound to the ankle.
