Columbus man lands in Lee County Jail accused of selling drugs
LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus man landed in the Lee County Jail accused of selling drugs.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office and the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit were carrying out an undercover operation in Verona.
As a result of that investigation, deputies and agents arrested Demetris Jamaal Nash of Columbus.
Nash was charged with trafficking of a controlled substance-ecstasy and possession of a controlled substance-meth with intent.
Nash’s bond was set at $100,000.
