Columbus Man Arrested On Enticement Charges

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus Police arrested a man Wednesday after they say he attempted to convince a minor to meet with him for a sexual encounter.

The enticement charges come after a two-month long investigation. 24-year-old Lavontae Taylor allegedly attempted to lure a 14 year old to a meeting on Aug. 1.

The exact charge is Computer Luring of persons under the age of 18.

Municipal Court Judge Rhonda Ellis set bond at $25,000.
