Columbus man accused of assaulting girlfriend

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus man is accused of assaulting his girlfriend.

Damien Lamar Griffin, 27, is charged with Aggravated Domestic Violence.

Lowndes County deputies said the incident happened December 22 on Harrison Road.

The 30-year-old victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Griffin’s bond was set at $10,000.
