Columbus Cracker Barrel Location Agreement

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – It appears Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant will open its doors in Columbus.

Swoope Real Estate says a land lease agreement has been reached between the property owner at 6th Street and 18th Avenue North and the restaurant.

Right now, the location is an empty field across from Logan’s Roadhouse restaurant.

Cracker Barrel will build and maintain the restaurant. It will also have the option to buy the land once the lease is up.

The company has made several attempts to locate in Columbus, but the deals fell through at the last minute.

Building plans are expected to be submitted to the city sometime this week.
