Columbus Councilman Pierre Beard arrested in west Alabama
A Columbus councilman was arrested in Gordo, Alabama
GORDO, Ala. (WCBI) – A Columbus City Councilman was arrested in west Alabama.
Pierre Beard, 35, was charged with DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and illegal alcohol.
The Pickens County, Alabama Sheriff’s Department’s website showed Beard was booked into jail Friday at 8:50 p.m.
Gordo police made the arrest.
Beard was given a $2,350 bond.
He represents Ward 4 in the city of Columbus.
