Video: Columbus’ Carpenter Wins Statewide Honor

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI-TV) – An area business leader got a statewide honor Thursday.

Visit Columbus CEO Nancy Carpenter won a “Business Woman of the Year” award. The Mississippi Business Journal gave her the honor Thursday.

She was one of ten finalists. She’s also a Wingman at Columbus Air Force Base.

Joe Max Higgins, of the group LINK, got the Business Person of the Year award earlier.
