Columbus Car Burglary Suspect Arrested

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Two car burglaries happened on two different days at the same location.

Now, Columbus have one suspect in custody.

Renaldo Laronta Gardner, 36, of Columbus is charged with two counts of auto burglary and one count of possession of a weapon by a felon.

Officers were called to a business parking lot on Highway 45 on Monday about the first theft.

A gun was taken in that burglary.

Another break-in happened two days later.

Gardner’s bond was set at $50,000.
