Columbus Arson Arrest

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCB) –  A Columbus woman angry at her boyfriend is charged with arson for allegedly trying to burn his house.

Columbus police say, 26 year old Cicely Hopkins is charged with arson in connection with a May 18th fire at a home in the 2400 block of 11th Avenue North. Police say, her boyfriend lived there.

Hopkins turned herself in to police the next day and was released on $3,500 bond.
