Club Exotic Shooting Suspect Identified

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The man accused in a Lowndes County nightclub shooting will make his first court appearance on Monday.

Jamario Jordan, 22, is charged with aggravated assault with a weapon.

He remains in the Lowndes County jail.

His bond is scheduled to be set in Justice Court.

The shooting happened at Club Exotic early Friday morning on Highway 245, in Crawford.

Lowndes County deputies were called to North Mississippi Medical Center West Point about a gunshot victim, just before two this morning.

Investigators are unsure what sparked the gunfire.

The victim had non life-threatening injures.
