Clay County Man Pleads Guilty To Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – A Clay County man will spend 30 years in prison.

Jerri Collins pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and armed robbery.

The Clay County Circuit Clerk’s office says court records show Collins was arrested for one incident in January 2013.

Collins is one of four people that were arrested for a shooting and armed robbery in December of 2014 at Point Place Apartments in West Point.

He was sentenced in Clay County Circuit Court this week.
