Clay County man faces child sex crime charges

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Clay County young man is facing several child sex crime charges.

18 year-old Ethan Cole O’Brian is charged with sexual battery, enticement of a child for sexual purposes, and possession of child pornography.

Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott says the alleged victim is under the age of 16.

No other information is being released about the investigation.

O’Brian made a court appearance this afternoon. His bond was set at $200,000.

Scott says the case is ongoing and charges could change or be upgraded.
