Clay County man arrested after domestic violence situation

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Clay County man was accused of beating a woman with a gun.

George Moore III, 20, was charged with aggravated assault, intimidating a witness, simple assault and disorderly conduct.

Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott said deputies were called about a domestic violence situation in western Clay County on Thursday.

Moore’s bond was set at over 300,000.

He remains in jail.
