Clay County deputies make drug arrest after short chase
CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Clay County deputies made a drug arrest after a short chase.
55-year-old Derek Mosley was charged with trafficking a controlled substance, failure to yield, reckless driving, and resisting arrest.
Sheriff Eddie Scott said crack cocaine and other drugs were found during the arrest.
The pursuit happened in western Clay County on Monday.
Mosley was on federal probation and remained in jail.
The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics was assisting in the case and more arrests were possible.
