Clay Co. United Way Holds Luncheon

WEST POINT, Miss. – (WCBI) We are entering the season of giving and the Clay County United Way officially kicked off their annual fundraising campaign Thursday.

A luncheon was held at the Civic in West Point.

Layne Bruce, the Executive Director of the Mississippi Press Association was the keynote speaker.

The United Way of Clay County serves disaster victims, education programs, as well as events to promote a better county.

All of the funds raised in today’s lunch went to the organization’s $250,000 goal.

Volunteers have already raised $125,000.
