Video: City of Columbus Conducting Surveys

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus’ Office of Planning and Development has some extra help this summer.

More than two dozen college students are knocking on doors in neighborhoods across the city, asking residents to complete surveys.

Their responses will help city planners get insight on incomes, quality of life, and other factors.

The information will help draft programs and policy to promote the growth and development in Columbus.

The teams will continue conducting surveys throughout the summer.
