Video: Church Serves Lunch To Law Enforcement Officers

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A Starkville church shows appreciation to the men and women who protect and serve by serving them.

Peter’s Rock Temple Church Of God In Christ hosted a special luncheon Wednesday for Starkville Police, Oktibbeha County deputies, and other law officers.

Church members greeted and served the officers a hot lunch of fried catfish, spaghetti, and all the trimmings.

Church leaders say they want to help promote prayer, unity and peace in the community and abroad.

Starkville firefighters were also invited to join the luncheon.
