Christmas Eve Plane Crash Victim Passes Away

UNDATED (WCBI) – The woman critically injured in the Christmas Eve 2015 plane crash in Alcorn County has lost her courageous fight for life.

32 year old Lauren Chase passed away Sunday. Chase suffered head injuries when the plane flown by her father in law Dr David Chase crashed shortly after takeoff from Corinth airport. The plane went down when an engine cowling failed and the aircraft could not make it back to Roscoe Turner field. The family was headed to Florida to visit relatives. No other passengers suffered serious injuries
