Choctaw County Board of Supervisors begins term

CHOCTAW COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Choctaw County Board of Supervisors began their four-year term in office Monday morning.

Joey Stephenson was elected board president.

Chris McIntire will serve the next four years as vice-president.

Those positions are voted on by the entire group of supervisors.

The county leaders voted to rehire employees and approve other routine business.

District Five Supervisor Mark Bruce is the new face on the board this year.
