Chase Charges Coming

ITAWAMBA COUNTY (WCBI) -The charges are beginning to stack up against the man who led officers on a multi county chase Sunday evening.

27 year old Daniel Clouse is accused of driving through yards on the Lee Itawamba County line and eventually was involved in a high speed chase that ended in the parking lot of a store near the  I-22  Highway 371 interchange. Today Itawamba County deputies charged Clouse with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle for ramming a deputies car. Investigators say Clouse then got out of his jeep and ran towards the deputy who then shot the charging man. Clouse is still in the hospital from that gunshot
