Charges Filed In Connection With Pontotoc Woman’s Death

OXFORD, Ms (WCBI) – A Memphis woman is being held on a 50 thousand dollar bond after being charged this morning with aggravated DUI.

Oxford Police filed the charges against 62 year old Patricia Guy  in connection with a Thanksgiving Day crash which killed a Pontotoc woman.  37 year old Ginny Dillard died after she was thrown from her car after it was hit by Guy’s car.  According to accident reports, Guy was driving along Highway 6 near Old Taylor Road when she ran off the road , came back onto the pavement and then slammed into Dillard’s car.   Police got a warrant to test Guy’s blood and sent those samples to the state crime lab before deciding to file charges.
