Cause Of Death Released In Noxubee County Homicide

NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Noxubee County investigators release how a Native American woman was killed.

30 year-old Nikita Nicole Wilson’s body was found late last month, just off Butler Road.

Coroner R.L. Calhoun says Wilson died from blunt force trauma to the head.

Law enforcement were given a tip on where to find her badly decomposed body, near Mashulaville.

She had been missing since July.

Multiple agencies are investigating the homicide, but no arrests have been made.
